League of Legends on Mac
Small interruptions can feel big in a match.
League can feel inconsistent on Mac when local pressure, Wi-Fi behavior, thermal state or background apps compete with the session.
What to check first
- Turn off Low Power Mode before ranked sessions.
- Close browser tabs, launchers and sync apps that wake during matches.
- Prefer Ethernet or a stable Wi-Fi channel.
- Watch jitter and packet loss when ping looks fine but input feels off.
- Check thermal pressure on MacBooks during long sessions.
Where CloudBoost helps
CloudBoost does not change League itself. It helps keep the Mac session quieter and explains whether macOS-side pressure, Wi-Fi/AWDL behavior, VPN routing or background work may be contributing.
A measured 42-minute PRO session recorded a 25 ms route p95, 8 ms maximum jitter, 0.0% maximum packet loss and 1.68% average CloudBoost CPU in a separate sample. It was an observational run, not proof of an FPS increase. See the screenshot, method and raw CSV.
